News
- The new due date for preliminary results of grad student papers is 21 October.
- Notes on what to present in your preliminary results for the assigned paper. These are from Bob Parkes website:
- A one sentence explanation of your paper topic - the question that you are asking.
- A one-paragraph description of your data (number of observations, years, survey name if applicable, etc.) Review other econometric papers to see how the data is described.
- A precise description of your variables and hypotheses concerning signs.
- Means/Minima/Maxima/Standard Errors of all variables (in a single table).
- If you have results, summarize them in one table. At least one EViews output should be an 'appendix', that is at the end of the paper.
- A list of references, in correct academic style.
