Introduction to Stata This is the handout I distributed on 23 September. It covers what we did in our STATA orientation session held on the CBA Trading Floor. This link also appears below in the STATA Links section of this page.
Our class is setup with STATA with what they call GradPlan 2. This means that they will sell you a 1 year license for STATA and a Getting Started manual (either Intercooled or Small) for not too much money. You'll need to know our course id which I will provide to you in class. Small STATA is probably enough for all assignments in this course. For those assignments that are bigger than Small STATA will handle, you can always traipse down to the lab.
